We have received several comments from learners and staff alike, who have been amazed how blinds have transformed the building and the learning environment. We cannot get over the difference in the vine corridor next to the two IT suites and the IT suite themselves.

having moved to a house with two huge cathedral windows catching the afternoon sun, we contacted a number of local and national blind suppliers to see what was suitable for our windows and to ask for quotes without success. Having seen a Ballantines advertisement in a local magazine we had a look at the website and then contacted them for a quote. Ballantines were easy to deal with from our first telephone contact with them. We were given clear and helpful advice about our options and then detailed quotations, enabling us to choose,for example, whether we wanted manual or motorised blinds. We particularly valued this, as we knew little about the products available on the market, but wanted to make sure we got the very best for our budget.
The technicians installing the motorised blinds, which we finally chose, were thoughtful and considerate causing as little inconvenience as possible. They were also perfectionists, as the blinds require a lot of adjustment to fit and work perfectly. Ballantines after sales service has been extremely efficient and any minor problems have been sorted out willingly and promptly. We have also had a number of normal-sized vertical and roller blinds fitted in other rooms and these have been fitted perfectly and been competitively priced.
We are delighted we were able to use a local firm for our blinds and Ballantines have supplied a product which enhances the beauty of our windows, yet protects us, our furnishings and furniture from strong sun at what we feel is a fair and justifiable price for an excellent service.

Several companies took one look at our sunroom roof and provided horrendous estimates for blinds, clearly because they didn't want the job, as it's unusual. Ballentines looked on calmly, measured up and gave a very affordable estimate. The fitting was straightforward and their aftercare excellent. You installed a Markilux 1500 Awning over our dining room window. It provided a shady sitting area and a cool living room in summer and is a great success. there is minimum maintenance and when we have called for help, we have instant attention. I have to admit that it is usually "pilot error".
